"The
Frank: The Story, and The Script." |
|
|
|
|

|

Originally
written in 1999 for a half-hour film, The Frank is about an
abused, city derelic wannabe serial killer. The problem is that
he's really not that good at it. Actually, he's very bad at
it. But he's got heart. |

 |
|
|
From
rejected prom dates to schoolgirls, he's having a hell of a
time finding his niche as one of the centuries most infamous
boogeymen. He takes classses, talks to god, and even studies
classic horror movies in his pursuit of the brass ring, or in
this case the bloody ring. |

But,
hey, don't hate him. As a matter of fact, don't even fear him.
At least not yet. |

The
original script was far too un-flushed-out for feature length
when shooting began at the end of February, 2003. Subsequently
the script, plot, and depth of charachters are being actualized
and realized often days before shooting. In most cases |

the
dialouge is written by the actor and director on shoot dates.
Actually, the majority of the dialouge is written by the actor
solely on a brief desciption of the basic concept by the director.
This is proving to be a dynamic and spontaneously executed production
with a surprise around every corner. The dailies look great,
and The Frank lives! |
